Visitors can enjoy backcountry backpacking, tent camping, and hiking. The Whitewater River provides 50 miles of kayaking and canoeing opportunities. The Brookville Reservoir is part of the project and offers boating and underwater activities. Accommodations include trailer and tent camping in Metamora, as well as program housing and hotels in nearby Brookville and Rushville, Indiana.

For those in need and searching for a way out of darkness, their discovery of Eagles and Horses 10-78 offers a hand up, a challenge, an adventure.

This is where Eagles and Horses 10-78 come into play. Because 10-78 is the code in law enforcement that an officer is down and needs assistance, it is our belief that as a participant in this program the individual has called for 10-78, that he or she is down and needs assistance. Those supporting the program are the bright light rescue responders.
